Ethiopia Misty Valley
From the southern highlands of Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone, Yirgacheffe, this lot comes from Misty Valley — a region where ideal elevations between 1,600 – 1,800 m and a cool, misty climate produce coffees of exceptional expression.
Grown on well-drained sandy soils from indigenous Ethiopia Heirloom varietals, the cherries are selectively handpicked and naturally sun-dried over bamboo-made African beds — a traditional method that draws out sweetness and floral aromas.
In the cup you'll find vibrant sweetness and juicy fruit: ripe berries, lifted by bergamot and a bright twist of orange, finishing sweet, clean, and floral.
This bean thrives with a gentle approach: a light-to-medium roast pour-over will highlight its berry-jam core and citrus lift. It performs beautifully in both filter and espresso.
Single origin lovers will appreciate the distinct flavour of the Ethiopians.
